I bought a PoolRx Unit, Should I Clean My Swimming Pool Filter Before Installing The PoolRx Unit?

It is very important to start installation of a PoolRx Unit with a clean swimming pool filter.
The PoolRx minerals inside the PoolRx are in a granular form before they dissolve. If the swimming pool filter is dirty, PoolRx minerals will get caught up on the dirty filter and won’t dissolve through. If this happens, you don’t get enough mineral in solution in the water and you won’t get the results as advertised.

Will PoolRx Clog My Swimming Pool Filter After Installation?

You’ve cleaned your swimming pool filter, then installed the PoolRx unit and noticed that pressure on the pool filter gauge went up. It’s absolutely normal.
Once PoolRx minerals dissolve through the swimming pool filter the pressure will drop back down again. Usually takes less than a day or so depending on the swimming pool filter.
