Raises Pool Water pH and Alkalinity
pH CONTROL: HASA Soda Ash increases the water’s pH in swimming pools. Measure pH in with an accurate test kit. Ideal pH range is 7.2-7.8. When pH is below 7.2, add Hasa Soda Ash at the rate of 1 pound per 10,000 gallons to raise the pH .1. Add Hasa Soda Ash by sprinkling over the surface of the water at the deep end of the pool while filter and pump are running. DO NOT add more than 2 pounds at one time. Wait 4-6 hours after application and retest pH. Add HASA Soda Ash if necessary.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To raise pH: HASA SODA ASH increases pH in swimming pools. Measure pH in swimming pool water with an accurate test kit. Ideal pH range is 7.2-7.6. When the pH is below 7.2, add HASA SODA ASH at the rate of one (1) pound per 10,000 gallons. Add HASA SODA ASH by sprinkling over the surface of the water at the deep end of the pool while filter and pump are running. Do not add more than two (2) pounds at one time. Wait 4-6 hours and retest pH. Repeat if necessary.
To raise Alkalinity: HASA SODA ASH will raise total alkalinity. Measure total alkalinity with a test kit designed for this purpose. When total alkalinity is less than 80 ppm, add HASA SODA ASH at the rate of one (1) pound per 10,000 gallons of water to increase total alkalinity 10 ppm. DO NOT add more than two (2) at one time. Add in the same manner as when raising pH described above. Wait 4-6 hours and retest alkalinity. Ideal range is 80—120 ppm.
