Some Blue Stuff is Coming Out of PoolRx?

Some Blue Stuff is Coming Out of PoolRx?

So I’ve installed PoolRx in my skimmer and now some blue staff comes out of it. Is that normal?

The answer is yes. After putting PoolRx in a swimming pool skimmer or a pump basket the minerals in the unit will start dissolving with water. These minerals are packed inside the cylinder made of specially treated alloy in the PoolRx unit. The minerals are blue-ish in color and start dissolving immediately when placed in the swimming pool water. That is why it’s important to run the pump after installing PoolRx for at least 3-4 hours so all the minerals can dissolve completely into
solution and circulate in the swimming pool water properly.

So the next question will be:

After I installed the PoolRx unit, a few hours later I noticed all the mineral are gone from the it? Is that normal?

The answer is yes. The minerals dissolve completely and immediately out of the unit and into solution throughout the entire
swimming pool water. These minerals DO NOT slowly dissolve over time like chlorine tablets. They dissolve typically
within a few hours based on flow over the PoolRx unit, and form a stable residual eliminating and preventing all types
of swimming pool algae.
