It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. A single 1 inch chlorinating tablet will provide 1.0 ppm available chlorine by weight per 3,000 gallons of swimming pool water. Reentry into treated pools is prohibited above levels of 4.0 ppm available chlorine.  Outdoor pools stabilized with water conditioner will require less chlorine. See directions on container label. This product is manufactured for use in erosion-type tablet feeders, wherein the water flows over the tablets slowly, providing a constant chlorine feed rate. Do not place tablets directly into the pool. Contact with concrete and vinyl may cause staining.

CHLORINATION:
Establish an initial chlorine residual: Establish an initial chlorine residual in the 1.0 – 3.0 ppm range with a fast-dissolving, granular product or a liquid chlorinating product. Follow directions of the labels of these products.

Maintenance of the chlorine residual: When an initial residual has been established, maintain the residual with 14 tablets per 8,000 gallons every 7 – 14 days in a chlorine tablet feeder. The number of tablets used every 7 – 14 days may vary with temperature, wind, pool usage, and feeding method. Test the chlorine residual in the pool water frequently with a reliable test kit. Adjust the tablet feed rate as necessary to maintain the chlorine residual in the 1.0 – 1.5 ppm range.

pH:
Measure pH of swimming pool water immediately prior to treatment with this product. Use a reliable test kit. If necessary, adjust and maintain pH within 7.2 – 7.6 range. pH Down lowers pH. pH Up raises pH. Follow directions for use on these labels.
