It is a stiff, tacky dielectric compound with excellent water repellencyUSESBOSS 820 Pool and Spa Lube was designed for use as a water repellent, sealing compound. Its grease-like consistency, high tack, chemical inactivity and superior dielectric properties make it an excellent choice for use in water applications. It is an excellent release agent and lubricant for rubber and plastic parts such as O-rings, valves or plastic gears. BOSS 820 Pool and Spa Lube is the premier product for lubrication in the Pool and Spa Industry.SPECIFICATIONSBOSS 820 Pool and Spa Lube complies with the requirements of FDA Regula-tion No. 21 CFR 178.3570, Lubricants for Incidental Food Contact. Compliance does not mean that the material is FDA approved. To be approved, the user must also comply with all applicable FDA requirementsCAUTIONBOSS 820 Pool and Spa Lube has not been known to produce any lasting harmful effects. Contact with eyes may cause transitor irritation which usually disappears in a few hours. If contact with the eyes occurs, flushing them with water will relieve and reduce the discomfort.STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE The compound should be stored at 100?é??F or below for periods up to one year. Extended storage life is probable, but the compound should be checked for consistency before use.RESTRICTIONSDo not use with highly oxidative chemicals such as liquid oxygen, chlorine or peroxides, nor surfaces to be painted. Not for use as a lubricant for metal to metal surfaces.CLEANINGSpilled silicone greases and compounds will cause slippery conditions. Wipe up and clean spills immediately to prevent possible injury. Silicone greases and compounds may be cleaned with the use of hydrophobic solvents (non-polar) such as chlorinated ethanes, toluene, hexane, or mineral spirits. They are generally unaffected by hydrophilic solvents (polar) such as alcohols, ketones, ethers or water. Whenever solvents are used, all proper safety precautions must be observed. It is advisable to consider all solvents as toxic and use them only in well-ventilated areas with proper protective equipment such as goggles, gloves, clothing and respirators. Avoid prolonged exposure to solvents. Be aware of their flammability status. Consult applicable OSHA, EPA and other federal, state and local regulations on the use and disposal of solvents.
